After Marie died 29 March 1914, Fritz (age 62 on his marriage license application) of Zybach TX married Mrs. Anna Detwiler (age 57) of Hutchinson KS in Hutchinson, Reno County KS on 23 July 1917. Fritz was a rancher in Texas, with the town near his ranch named for him. Anna's birth surname on her CA death certificate is given as Rungger; the version Ringger has also been found. A resident of Long Beach CA, she died on 5 January 1928 in Los Angeles County. She was born in 1861 in Switzerland. Anna was buried in Angeles Abbey Memorial Park, Compton, Los Angeles County CA. On 13 October 1928, Fritz married Mrs. Marie Christener. Her birth surname is recorded as Schneider on her husband Carl Christener's Oregon military record. She had been born in Switzerland on 30 March 1864 and died 18 October 1945 in Los Angeles County CA. She was buried in Helvetia, Oregon, where she had lived before moving to Long Beach 16 years before her death. She has two Find A Grave records for the Helvetia Cemetery, one as Zybach (190329699) and one as Christener (7750096). Her husband Karl Christener (Find A Grave 9750081) lived from 1863 to 1924. Fritz's obituary appears in the "Marshall County News" (Marysville KS) on 11 January 1945 p. 8. He was born 28 November 1854 in Canton Bern, Switzerland, the son of Rudolph & Elisa Zybach. He died at his home in Long Beach CA 29 December 1944 after an illness of a few days. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1883 & settled in Marysville KS. In 1909 he moved to Wheeler County TX [note: where the town of Zybach is named for him] and in 1918 to Long Beach. He was survived by his wife Marie and 7 children: Fred Zybach (Conway AR), Mrs. Marie Knodel (Marysville KS), Mrs. George Griswold (Marysville KS), Mrs. J.M. Nielson (Marysville KS), John Zybach (Pampa TX), Mrs. John Gast (DeRuyter NY), Ernest Zybach (Bristol TX) and Carl Zybach (Canadian TX). Son Arthur Zybach had died in the battle of the Meuse in World War I. His funeral was held 5 January 1945 with interment in the Marysville cemetery. .
