Description : Friedrich emmigrated from Russia with his brother Jacob & family on the SS Frisia from Hamburg & Havre on 27 Nov 1878. They arrived at the Port of New York at Castle Garden, New York, New York, United States. He married Margaretha Guthmiller on 1 May 1880, and they moved from Tripp, SD to McPherson Co., SD, and settled 10 miles east of Eureka, SD. In 1885. This union was blessed with nine children; two died in infancy. Friedrich passed away from Diphtheria in 1895 at the age of 38.
