Description	:	MARTZ, G. Frank CUMBERLAND,MARYLAND -- G. Frank Martz, 66 years old, 212 Riverview Place, Cumberland, Md., a Baltimore & Ohio Railroad freight conductor, was fatally injured Wednesday afternoon when he fell beneath the wheels of his moving train near Salisbury. Both legs were severed below the knees, and he died at the Allegany Hospital, at Cumberland, shortly after being admitted. Mr. Martz was a sergeant in Company C, First Maryland Volunteer Infantry during the Spanish War. He had been in the railroad service more than 20 years, and was well known in this section. He was a regular roomer at the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Y.M.C.A. He is survived by his widow, who was Miss Cecelia B. Frey; by one son, G. Frank Martz, Jr.; a daughter, Iris C. Martz; two brothers, A. G. Martz and Edward P. Martz, of Cumberland, Md.; five sisters, Mrs. John Rowan of Hagerstown, Mrs. Cecelia Deffenbaugh, Mrs. William G. Keffer, Mrs. William Schute, and Mrs. A. G. Miller, all of Cumberland. The funeral service will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Cumberland, with interment in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
