Description	:	Gail was born January 7, 1939, to Orris and Esther (Gerhard) Lanning. Gail graduated from Eagle High School and Milford Trade School. He was active in the Eagle Methodist Church when he was younger. After graduation, he worked for Caterpillar Tractor as a diesel specialist Gail enlisted in the Navy Reserves and then served on active duty from 1961 to 1966. He received an award as Outstanding Navy Reservist. Gail served on the Planning Commission for Eagle for many years.
