Description	:	Gail (Altena) Coulter, 45, of Park Rapids, Minn., formerly of Sioux Center, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at her residence. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center, with the Rev. Stephen Rhoda officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Gail Lorraine Coulter was born March 16, 1961, to Aubrey and Arlene (Vreugdenhil) Altena, in Sioux Center. She attended Sioux Center Christian School and graduated from Unity Christian High School with the class of 1979. After attending Dordt College, she moved to Sioux City and worked as an accountant for Kent Feeds. While working in Sioux City, she met and married Richard Coulter. The couple owned and operated the Kent Feed Store in Geddes, S.D. They later moved to Park Rapids, where they managed a vacation resort. She is survived by her mother, Arlene Altena of Sioux Center; two brothers, Jan Altena and his wife, Glenda of Orange City, Iowa, and Terry Altena of Sioux Center and Debbie Altena of Sioux Center; seven nieces and nephews, Dan and Rachelle Altena and their daughter, Kailee of Visalia, Calif., Ted and Jackie Altena, Anne-Michelle Altena, Hannah Altena, Tim and Sara Altena and Tony Altena, all of Orange City, Lisa Altena and her children, Lakota and Adrian of Le Mars, Iowa; and a number of other relatives.
