He was born on November 9, 1947 in Middletown, Ohio. He worked at Shyer's Auto Parts in Middletown for 24 years. He also worked at Savage KOI Auto Parts in Franklin for 10 years. Gale is survived by his wife; Nancy of Somerville, a daughter; Chrystal McElwain and grand daughter Alyssa Shular of Miamisburg, and two sons; Dennis of Somerville and Kevin of Eaton. He also leaves a sister; Nina L. Eck of Camden, a brother William C. (Pauline) McElwain of Camden, his mother in law Rachael Bledsoe of Carlisle, sister in law Erma ( Bob) Link of Findlay, and sister in law Ada ( Gary) Irvin of Carlisle. He also is also survived by, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, friends, and family members who loved him. Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 am at the Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd. St. Franklin. Visitation will be Wednesday 5 - 9 pm at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to services Thursday. Interment in Butler County Memorial Park.
