Read More	Garold "Dee" Parker April 25, 1943 - July 9, 2018 Obituary for Garold "Dee" Parker Garold “Dee” Parker of rural Bussey, Iowa, passed away on July 9, 2018, at his residence. He was born on April 25, 1943 to Francis and Margaret (Little) Parker. He was one of nine children. Dee was raised in Bussey, Iowa and attended Bussey schools. On April 30, 1966, he was united in marriage to Rita Mae (Williams). They were blessed with three children. Dee loved spending time with his kids, enjoyed fishing in the river and was a former hunter. He worked in coalmines, did road construction for Iowa Road Builders, Steriquest Construction, and Judy Co. He also performed work on the Red Rock Dam. Dee loved spending time with all of his grandkids, and was blessed with six of them, also one great- granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents; Earl and Margaret Parker, one daughter; Teresa Parker-Cranston, three sisters; Goldie Parker, Myrna Spaur, and Mary Wright, also two brothers; Bill and Lyle Parker. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years; Rita Mae (Williams) Parker, son; Troy (Dawn) Parker of Lovilia, daughter; Mary Margaret Parker of Bussey, six grandchildren; Seth, Abaygael, and Hunter Parker, Nick (Holly) Kelly, James Cranston, and Jesse Bogard-Parker, one great-granddaughter; Keelie Kelly, two brothers; Fred Parker of Knoxville, and Tom Parker of Bussey, and one sister; Sally Laird of Knoxville. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hamilton Community Center in Hamilton, Iowa.
