He was predeceased by his parents, Doug and Kathleen. Garry was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed writing poetry. He loved to collect antique bottles and unique rocks. He was a member of the Second Falls Baptist Church, where he was a Deacon for several years and also held various other offices in the church. Resting at the Second Falls Baptist Church from where the service will be held on Sunday morning at 11:00 am followed by interment in the church cemetery. Visiting at the church will take place on Friday from 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Donations to the Charlotte County Cancer, The Second Falls Baptist Church or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
