Description	:	Gary A. "Shorty" TeKrony, son of Merwin and Joyce (Scott) TeKrony, was born January 14, 1963 at Hendricks, Minnesota. He grew up on the family farm near Clear Lake, South Dakota and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1982. Shorty attended Lake Area Votech in Watertown and studied auto mechanics. He was united in marriage to Ronna Walklin on April 8, 1989 in Castlewood. They farmed all of their married lives in the Castlewood area at the present location. He grew up on the family farm near Clear Lake, South Dakota and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1982. Shorty attended Lake Area Votech in Watertown and studied auto mechanics. He was united in marriage to Ronna Walklin on April 8, 1989 in Castlewood. They farmed all of their married lives in the Castlewood area at the present location. Shorty died on Monday, September 3, 2007 at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown at the age of 44 years, 7 months and 19 days. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Castlewood, enjoyed riding his Harley the best and also enjoyed hunting, fishing and auto racing. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife Ronna of Castlewood; five brothers, Alvin of Huron, SD, Randy and his wife Tracey of Westminister, CO, Steve and his wife Bonnie of Clear Lake, SD, Vince and his wife Karen of Brighton, CO, Blaine and his wife Joellen of Estelline, SD; three sisters, Lorolia Gruener and her husband Paul of Clear Lake, Lesa Arnold of Corona, CA, Lola TeKrony of Brookings, SD; several nieces and nephews; his in-laws, Harold and Lavona Walklin of Castlewood, Karlene Gollnick and her husband Mike of Webster, SD, Carrie Bach and her husband Kevin of Watertown, SD, Duane Walklin of Tampa, FL; and a host of other relatives and friends. Shorty was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ricky in infancy and his grandparents. Funeral Service Saturday, September 8, 2007 First Presbyterian Church Castlewood, South Dakota Rev.
