He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with family, cooking, and baking. After Marla passed and in retirement he enjoyed gardening and spending time with his beloved dog, Bailey. Preceding him in death were his parents; and mother-in-law, Jackie Chandler. Survivors include his children, Misty Cooper and husband, Cody, of Leon and Joeseph Petty of Osceola, Iowa; grandson, Joey Petty of Osceola; brother, Jim Petty, wife Dina, and their children, Kyle, Brittany, and Kylie Petty; sisters, Connie Snow and Peggy Wood; more nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
