Born in Bridgewater on February 12, 1961, he was the older son of Bruce and Violet (Newell) Eisnor. Besides his parents, he is survived by two sons, Kevin Gary and Kent Willard; a brother, Wayne; a sister, Darlene; maternal grandfather, Harold Newell, Baccarro; a paternal grandmother, Mrs. Willard Eisnor, Barss Corner; and numerous aunts and uncles. The body rested at Langille's Funeral Home and a trucker's service was held on Thursday, February 14, at 2 p.m., from Barss Corner Baptist Church. The service was conducted by Rev. Ernest Crosby. The choir very beautifully rendered the hymn, "Amazing Grace." Interment was at Indian Brook Cemetery. Pallbearers were fellow truck drivers who had worked with Gary, Brian Reynolds, Jackie Zwicker, James Baxter, Lawrence Veinot, Jim Isaac, and Carroll DeLong. Honourary pallbearers were made up of 28 truck drivers who had known Gary over his lifetime. This cortege of trucks, polished to the most minute detail, followed the funeral procession from the church to the cemetery. Gary was well known in the Maritimes and the United States especially to the CB'ers where his call name was Papa Bear. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered for his pleasant and warm personality. RR
