Gary Dean Bossman was born Feb. 3, 1942 on the farm where he grew up, southwest of Lennox, to Edward and Ardell (Timmerman) Bossman. He attended Ashlawn District #89 and graduated from Lennox High School in 1960. He attended Augustana College for one year. On July 1, 1967 Gary was united in marriage to Sharon Wells at Zion Lutheran Church in Ocheydan, IA. The couple lived in Lennox their entire married life of almost 38 years.... Gary Dean Bossman was born Feb. 3, 1942 on the farm where he grew up, southwest of Lennox, to Edward and Ardell (Timmerman) Bossman. He attended Ashlawn District #89 and graduated from Lennox High School in 1960. He attended Augustana College for one year. On July 1, 1967 Gary was united in marriage to Sharon Wells at Zion Lutheran Church in Ocheydan, IA. The couple lived in Lennox their entire married life of almost 38 years. Gary worked as a brick mason for Hattendorf Construction and as a carpenter for Hoffman Construction until the effects of Multiple Sclerosis disabled his body in 1977. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Sharon; his son, Michael and his wife, Kathy; two grandchildren, Makayla Nicole (23 months) and Madison Marie (3 weeks) of Gretna, NE; his sister Arla Klinghagen and husband, Rodney, of Newman Grove, NE and his brother, Alan and his wife, Kay, of Sioux Falls; 15 nieces and nephews and his parents-in-law, Darrell and LeOra Wells of Lake Park, IA, along with a host of other family and friends.
