He went to school in Norfolk, Nebraska and graduated in 1960. Gary was married to Judy Ainsworth and had four children, Kim, Kristi, and twins Gary and Kari. Gary Weaver was born in Bloomfield, Nebraska in 1941. He went to school in Norfolk, Nebraska and graduated in 1960. Gary was married to Judy Ainsworth and had four children, Kim, Kristi, and twins Gary and Kari. Gary joined the United Sates Navy in 1968. While in the Navy, Gary fought in the Vietnam War and was a riverboat patrolman. He went out on patrol 206 times and was under hostile fire 18 times. Gary was presented with a certificate of River War Service. He was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1972. After Gary returned from the service, he tended bar at the Oasis Bar, Ramada Inn, and Holiday Inn. He then worked for Stevenson Steel Construction, moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming, and worked for Chief Industries. After that, Gary moved back to Nebraska and worked at Jake's and the Eagle's Club, which was supposed to be part time but he stayed for 15 years. It was there Gary met Judy Borer in 1996, and they dated eleven years. They married in 2007, and he gained three step-children, Mike, Michelle, and Dean. Between the two of them, Gary and Judy have 18 grandchildren. Gary began getting sick in 2008, and they discovered he had Parkinson's Disease. He entered Norfolk Veterans Home in 2015, after being sick and hospitalized. Gary only stayed at the veterans home for two months, as he felt better and returned to his home. Gary loved his children and being a father. He also loved dancing, drinking, being with friends, and fishing when he could. Gary was just a real neat guy, the sweetest and most easy going person one would ever meet. Gary is survived by his wife, Judy (Borer) Weaver of Norfolk, Nebraska; brother, Raymond (Betty) Weaver of Norfolk; children, Kimberly Weaver of Norfolk and her children, Krystal, Kasey, and Paige, Kristina Weaver of Shelby, Nebraska and her children, Anna, Samantha, and Katie, Kari (Jesse) Frauendorfer of Madison, Nebraska and their children, William and Hailey, and Gary (Faith) Weaver of Genoa, Nebraska and their children, Dominic, Grace, and Noah; step-children, Mike (Kathy) Elkins of Norfolk and their daughter, Shannon, Michelle (William) Benfield of Norfolk and their children, Austin, Bailey, and Charlie, and Dean (Kristi) Borer of Knoxville, Tennessee and their children, McKenna and Maci. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Helen (Schuett) Weaver; his first wife, Judy (Ainsworth) Weaver; and granddaughter, Laura.
