Description	:	Gary Eugene Siebels, 67 years of age, of Oxford, Nebraska, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2011, at the Oasis of Hope Cancer Treatment Center in Tijuana, Mexico, after a brief illness. Gary was born August 25, 1943 in Woodbine, IA, the eldest child of Robert E. and Bonnie L. (Watkins) Siebels. Read More	Gary Eugene Siebels, 67 years of age, of Oxford, Nebraska, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2011, at the Oasis of Hope Cancer Treatment Center in Tijuana, Mexico, after a brief illness. Gary was born August 25, 1943 in Woodbine, IA, the eldest child of Robert E. and Bonnie L. (Watkins) Siebels. As a child, he lived on a farm near Woodbine and attended country school and then Woodbine High School. After high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country from February 28, 1962 until his honorably discharged on February 27, 1970. Gary was united in marriage to Marilyn Jenkins in 1979 and to this union one son, Troy Robert was born. In earlier years, from a previous marriage, Gary also had two other children, Todd and Traci. Gary was involved in cattle feeding and farming in Harlan County near Oxford and Stamford for over 30 years. For the last 12 years he had be in partnership with his son, Troy. He loved working with his son and spending time with his grandchildren. Gary was very interested in guns, cars, but his life's passion was in livestock. Gary will be remembered as a man of integrity, who believed in hard work. Gary was preceded in death by his father. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 32 years, Marilyn of Oxford, his son, Troy Siebels and his wife, Amanda, and granddaughters: Addison & Taryn all of Orleans; son, Todd Siebels of Greenville, North Carolina, and grandson, T.J., and daughter, Traci Nitzel of Lincoln, Nebraska, and grandchildren: Tanna and Trevor; his mother, Bonnie Siebels of Holdrege; brothers: Joe Siebels, Robert Siebels and Rick Siebels and his wife, Lawana all of Oxford; and sisters: Carol Schroeder and her husband, Gary of Oxford and Kim Dibben and her husband, Mike of Omaha, Nebraska and a host of relatives and friends. Inurnment was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Harlan County, Nebraska.
