Survivors include three daughters, Lisa Rundell and husband Hugh, Lawrence, Julie Hoffer and husband Rod, Lawrence, and Amy Gaines and husband John, Des Moines, Iowa; five grandchildren, Hannah, Hope, Hunter, Riley and Ruby; one sister, Judy Leavens and husband Harold, Newton, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Gladys Howe, Waterloo, Iowa; and long-time companion Una Helman. He was preceded in death by two infant sisters, three brothers, Larry McFarling, GrayDon Howe Jr. and Carl Howe, and his parents. The family suggests memorials to the Gary G.
