In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Betty Shelton Chaney; two stepdaughters and their spouses, Kim and Michael Salmons of Milton, and Tina and Eddie Howell of Racine, W.Va.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Carolyn Chaney of Wheelersburg, Ohio, and Robert and Frances Chaney of Monett, Missouri; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Freda and Don Chapman of Milton, and Sylvia and Joe Neal of Vinton Ohio; two brothers-in-law and their spouses, Larry "Bugs" and Barb Shelton and Calvin and Leora Shelton, all of Milton; one sister-in-law and her spouse, Becky and Dale Conrad of Milton; three grandchildren, Tristyn and Michael Salmons II, and Jacob Vititoe; two stepgrandchildren, Crissy and Vanessa Howell; special niece and nephew, Billy Chaney and Cathy Lemay; special friends at BASF; a host of family and friends. Pallbearers were Eddie Howell, Jacob Vititoe, Michael Salmons, Michael Salmons II, Keith Adkins, Larry Foster, Butch Chapman, Billy Powell, Dwayne Gibson and Farley Cash.
