Martin, in 1980; son-in-law, Kelly Lovvorn and niece, Lori Martin. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharon Martin, of Council Bluffs; daughters, Robin Lovvorn, of Houston, Texas, Carey (Mike) Jensen, of Council Bluffs; sons, Michael (Tammi) Martin, of Council Bluffs, Gary (Heather Christensen) Martin, II, of Glenwood, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; mother and stepfather, Vendita and Merle Bridges, of Council Bluffs; brother, Donald D. (Penny) Martin, of Minden, Iowa; sister-in-law, Carol (Jim Hunter) of Council Bluffs; mother-in-law, Bette Smith; brothers-in-law, Ronald C. Smith, Larry J. (Char) Smith, all of Camanche, Iowa; nieces and nephews. COBIA Lodge #631 Masonic service, Tuesday, 5:00 p.m., followed by visitation with the family until 8:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral service, Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary, with Reverend Peter Lillestolen officiating. Interment Hazel Dell Cemetery with military rites tendered by American Legion Post #2. A lunch will follow at Sherwood Community Church. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Southwest Iowa or Hazel Dell Methodist Church.
