Description	:	Gary R. Grant, 60, of 102 N. Schuyler St. Ottumwa, died at 9:25 pm July 24, 2011, at his home. He was born Nov. 28, 1950, in Ottumwa to Richard D. and Nellie I. Stainer Grant. He married Cindy Tarr Wells June 27, 1988. A graduate of Ottumwa High School and Ottumwa Heights College, he attended the University of Iowa. Surviving are his wife, Cindy; two daughters, Tereasa(Tessa)Grant of Columbia, Mo., and Rachel(Jason)Jones of Fairfield; and a grandson, Logan. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be 10 am Thursday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Courtney officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. visitation will begin at 10 am Wednesday with the family present from 5-7 pm Wednesday. Memorials may be made to Hospice Serving Davis and Wapello Counties, Ottumwa, Iowa. or Heartland Humane Society, Ottumwa, Iowa.
