| Description | : | Gayland Jay (Doc) Brettmann, 68, passed away the morning of Dec. 28, 2019, at St. Vincents Cardiac Care Unit in Indianapolis after having a heart triple by-pass surgery at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana. Doc, also known as “Bear” to his children, was born on Sept. 29, 1951, in Francesville, Indiana to Erwin Helmuth and Margaret Rose Brettmann, who preceded him in death.
