Description	:	Geneva (Cox) Wallace, 100, passed away Wednesday (August 9, 2017) at Astoria Place in Cambridge. She was born February 13, 1917, on Conquer Hill in Guernsey County, and was the daughter of the late Everett and Mary Hazel (Edwards) Cox. Geneva retired from Cambridge Glass after 25 years of service. She also worked at Westinghouse, Hamilton Beach, Fabri Form and 10th St. Market. She was the oldest member of First Baptist Church in Byesville where she taught adult Sunday school for many years, and was a 1934 graduate of Byesville High School. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Max Wallace whom she married April 2, 1938 and passed away August 30, 1976; one son Tommy Dale Wallace; one great grandson Gregory Eubanks; three sisters, Naomi Wentworth, Ruby Ammar and Bernice Moore; three brothers, Raymond, Harold and Howard Cox. She is survived by two sons and their wives; four daughters and spouses; one sister; nineteen grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren, and twenty six great great grandchildren. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where services will be11:00 a.m. Friday with Rev. Sturman Moore officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donation may be made to Hospice of Guernsey, P.O. Box 1165, Cambridge, Ohio 43725 or the Activity Fund @ Astoria Place, 8420 Georgetown Rd., Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
