Mrs. Becker was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on August 20, 1915, to George and Bertha (LeVan) Bradbury. She graduated valedictorian of her class from Lafayette Central High School in Zainesville in 1933. She was first married to Sidney H. Read More	THIS IS THE OBIT AS IT WAS PRINTED IN THE NEW SUN PAPER Tuesday, July 12, 2011, 12:00am Images KENDALLVILLE — Geneva Juanita Becker, age 95, of rural Kendallville, died on Sunday, July 10, 2011, at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville. Mrs. Becker was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on August 20, 1915, to George and Bertha (LeVan) Bradbury. She graduated valedictorian of her class from Lafayette Central High School in Zainesville in 1933. She was first married to Sidney H. Beauchamp in August 1938 and he preceded her death in September 1953. She later married Keith Becker on November 23, 1955, and he also preceded her death on December 13, 1993. Mrs. Becker was a dedicated homemaker and farm wife. She also worked with her daughter at Chloe's Florist in Kendallville for many years. She was a past member of the Albion Wesleyan Church and the Jefferson Township Home Extension Club. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Martha Beauchamp of rural Kendallville; her daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette (Becker) and Albert Harris of Louisville, Kentucky; and five grandchildren, Theresa Frick of Indianapolis, Susan Hicks of Avilla, Rick Nesbitt of San Diego, California, Joshua Beauchamp of Fort Wayne, and Kathryn Harris of Louisville. She was also preceded in death by her son, Paul Beauchamp; her daughter, Chloe Nesbitt; a granddaughter, Amy Beauchamp; three brothers; and one sister. Visitation will be today, Tuesday, July 12, 2011, from 6-8 p.m. at Hite Funeral Home, 403 S. Main St. in Kendallville. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. at Hite Funeral Home. Officiating the funeral service will be Rev. Dr. Thomas Clothier. Burial will be at Sweet Cemetery near Albion.
