Wyatt of Hastings, NE, the daughter of Otto and Della Smith, born May 19th, 1929 in Rushville, NE, peacefully earned her wings in the early morning of Tuesday, June 26th, 2018 in Ashland, NE at the age of 89. She was surrounded by the same love and care she spent her life sharing with others. Wyatt of Hastings, NE, the daughter of Otto and Della Smith, born May 19th, 1929 in Rushville, NE, peacefully earned her wings in the early morning of Tuesday, June 26th, 2018 in Ashland, NE at the age of 89. She was surrounded by the same love and care she spent her life sharing with others. Ginny was married to Sam Stroud and was blessed with the birth of two sons, Jerry Stroud of North Platte, NE and Lerry Stroud of Lincoln, NE. She later married Harley Wyatt and was blessed with another son Ed Wyatt of Lincoln, NE. Ginny spent most of her career in the communications industry with Bell Telephone and thirty years with LT&T as a secretary in Hastings, NE. Her #1 priority was always her family, but also enjoyed golf, dancing, music, traveling, socializing with friends and was a long time member of St. Paul’s Church in Hastings, NE. She is survived by her sons Jerry Stroud; Lerry Stroud and girlfriend Tracy Louthan; Ed Wyatt and wife Marilou; Grandchildren Keila Dela Cruz, Shyanne Phiathep, Aubrey Wyatt, Sydney Wyatt, Bill Stroud, Christine Kutschkau; Great grandchildren Megan and Nicole Kutschkau; Landon and Easton Stroud; Brother Everet Smith and sister Dela Sanchez of Alliance, NE and many more nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents and siblings Bill Green, Don Smith, Al Smith, and Otto Smith. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 30th, 2018 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Lincoln, NE at 11:00 a.m
