Description	:	Our beautiful mother, Genevieve May Kober, 87, daughter of Everett and Helen Broadbent Monroe, passed away on Nov. 7, 2013, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Harvey Dufrenne. Mom was born in Hardin., on May 18, 1926. She married Emil Kober on March 1, 1943. She lived in and around Billings all her life, except during the war when she and our father lived in Seattle. Read More	Our beautiful mother, Genevieve May Kober, 87, daughter of Everett and Helen Broadbent Monroe, passed away on Nov. 7, 2013, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Harvey Dufrenne. Mom was born in Hardin., on May 18, 1926. She married Emil Kober on March 1, 1943. She lived in and around Billings all her life, except during the war when she and our father lived in Seattle. Due to advanced Alzheimer's disease, the last six years of her life Mom was lovingly cared for by Cheryl and Harvey at their home in California and later their home in Depoe Bay, Ore. Mom will be remembered by both friends and family for her beautiful laugh, loving, giving nature, and no-nonsense, "tell-it-like-it-is" attitude. We four children, Cheryl Dufrenne, Annabelle (Dave) Slough, Colleen Reed and Gary Kober, whom she loved and nurtured unconditionally all our lives, will hold her in our hearts forever. Mom will be missed by daughter-in-law Shannon Turner, Julie Hulit, significant other of Gary Kober, her 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held on Nov. 9, in Newport, Ore., at the First Presbyterian Church. A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. on May 17, 2014, at the American Lutheran Church in Billings. After the service Mom's remains will be placed next to those of our father, Emil, at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
