She grew up and attended school in Beemer, NE. Genny was united in marriage with Quintin Holtz on June 28, 1959, in Beemer, NE. Together they raised their five children. Genny and Quintin have been residents in Sioux Falls for over 50 years. She was a dedicated member of Christ Lutheran Church, sang in the choir; was the program director of Sunday school and a member of LWML. Genny enjoyed gardening and baking. Her true passion was always family and being present with her grandchildren for any school or sporting event. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother that will be greatly missed.
