Description	:	George Lambrecht, 78 of Sterling, died Wednesday,May 22, 2002, in Sterling of natural causes. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 23, with rosary following at 6 p.m. at Tennant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Blanco officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. George was born Nov. 25, 1923, to John Peter and Magdalene Hochnadel Lambrecht. He attended St. Anthony's School from 1930-1935 then moved to Padroni and continued his education there. George was born Nov. 25, 1923, to John Peter and Magdalene Hochnadel Lambrecht. He attended St. Anthony's School from 1930-1935 then moved to Padroni and continued his education there. On Sept.30, 1946 he married Clara Korbe. She passed away in 1978. George worked for Plains Motors Co. from 1946 to 1950, and the worked for Holloways from 1950 until his retirement in 1985. On June 21, 1980 he married Irene Korbe. George was a member of St. Anthony's Church, Knights of Columbus and the Elks. He enjoyed his family, polka dancing, working on cars and watching the Broncos and Rockies games. George is survived by his wife Irene, Four sons Jerry, Jerome, Duane of Sterling and Richard of Sidney Neb. One daughter Karen Borcher of Sidney,Five brothers Albert, Ed, Francis of Sterling, John of Atwood and Ray of Shreveport La. He is also survived by two sisters Rose Shank and Florence Gertner of Sterling, and 28 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Clara,brother Joseph and sister Mary Ann. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Anthony's Furnace Fund or the Hospice of the Plains.
