Description	:	George A. Urban was born in Germany, March 31, 1853, and died at a Huron hospital February 16, 1930, at the of 66 years, 10 months end 16 days. At the age of seven years he came to American with his parents and settled on a farm near Nebraska City, Neb. On February 20, 1895, he was married to Mary Remaly and lived on a farm near Elmwood. In 1909 they moved to South Dakota and resided on a farm 10 miles northwest of Huron, which was his home until passing to the great beyond. To this union nine children were... Read More	George A. Urban was born in Germany, March 31, 1853, and died at a Huron hospital February 16, 1930, at the of 66 years, 10 months end 16 days. At the age of seven years he came to American with his parents and settled on a farm near Nebraska City, Neb. On February 20, 1895, he was married to Mary Remaly and lived on a farm near Elmwood. In 1909 they moved to South Dakota and resided on a farm 10 miles northwest of Huron, which was his home until passing to the great beyond. To this union nine children were born, five sons and four daughters. When a boy, Mr. Urban joined the Lutheran church and later was transferred to the First Methodist Episcopal church at Broadland and was a faithful member at the time of his death. Mr. Urban was a kind and loving husband and father toward his family. Funeral services were held in the First Methodist Episcopal church in Huron. The Rev. Susie Thompson of Broadland the Rev. F E. Lochridge of Huron were in charge of the service. The songs were: "Safe in the Arms of Jesus!" "I Think of the Home Over There;" and "Sometime We'll Understand," were sung by Mrs. Carl Betters and Mrs. Jake Gascoigne of Broadland. Six of the friends and neighbors acted as pallbearers, E.J. Van Horne, E.E. Clark, C.H. Seeman, Charles Walrayen, J.H. Zeigler and A.J. Stauffacher. The body was laid to rest in the Riverside cemetery. He leaves to mourn bis death the widow and nine children: Harvey and Roy Urban of Broadland: George and Arthur Urban of Huron; Mrs. Cornelius Poulisse of Broadland; Mrs. Milton Smith of Hitchcock; Opal Urban of Huron and Paul and Pauline Urban, who are at home, and six grandchildren. He is also survived by Will Urban of Broadland; John Urban of Philip and two sisters, Mrs. K.L. Pohlman and Miss Anna Urban of Lincoln, Neb., and a host of friends. Evening Huronite- 2/27/1930
