Description	:	George Albert Davidson, long-time resident of this community passed away at his home in Beulah on Saturday May 31, at the age of 80 years, 11 months and 13 days. Mr. Davidson had been in failing health for many months but for the past month he seemed to be improving. Death came suddenly following a stroke. George Albert Davidson was born in Canada June 18, 186O. In 1868 he came to the United States and resided in Michigan. Read More	George Albert Davidson, long-time resident of this community passed away at his home in Beulah on Saturday May 31, at the age of 80 years, 11 months and 13 days. Mr. Davidson had been in failing health for many months but for the past month he seemed to be improving. Death came suddenly following a stroke. George Albert Davidson was born in Canada June 18, 186O. In 1868 he came to the United States and resided in Michigan. When he was about 21 years of age he moved to Manchester, South Dakota and it was there he was married to Mattie A. Noble on November 15 1891. In 1908 he brought his family to North Dakota, taking up a homestead five miles south of Beulah where he made his home for the next 25 years. In 1933 he retired from farming and moved to Beulah where he lived the remainder of his life. Mr. Davidson joined the Congregational Church in 1908 and was a member of the present First Congregational Church of Beulah. He leaves to mourn his passing his widow, Mattie Davidson; five children, Mrs. Mary Westmark of Dickinson, and Steve, Theron, Amber and Cecil Davidson all of Beulah; and 15 grandchildren. Funeral services were held from the First Congregational Church of Beulah with pastor Norman S. Davis officiating on Tuesday afternoon, June 3. Burial was in the Beulah Cemetery.
