He was the son of the late John Quincy Spell, Sr. and Sena Ard Spell. George served his Country in United States Navy, where he fought in the Korean War. He loved playing country music and was an exceptional and gifted lead guitarist and singer. George was an Elder and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Florence. He was an avid fisherman. George enjoyed reading and watching westerns and spending time with his family. He will be fondly remembered for his great sense of humor. Surviving are his children, Susan Spell; Jeanette Tindal and her husband, Terry; and George Allen Spell and his wife, Delta; his grandchildren, TJ Tindal; Autumn Chidester and her husband, Troy; Ashley Gregory; Amanda Gregory; and Courtney Rogers; his sisters, Juanita Poston; Geneva Carmichael; and Lucille Cole; his brother, Everett Spell and his wife, Miriam; and his half brother, Folly Spell.
