Description	:	Mr. George Arthur Willard, 72, of Catoctin Hollow Road, Thurmont, died Sunday, Dec. 12, at his home. He was the husband of Louise Smith Willard, his wife of six years. Born Sept. 28, 1927, in Thurmont, he was a son of the late George Allen and Cora Mae Harne Willard. Mr. Willard retired in 1989 after 44 years of service with the Thurmont Shoe Co. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and spending time with his pets. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, George O. Mr. Willard was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Pauline Willard; one son, Arthur Daniel Willard; and three brothers, Roy Willard, Herb Willard and Ralph Willard.
