Description	:	George A. Parsell was born in 1850. When in Helena, he worked as a miner. He married Minnie Barnden on October 12, 1881. On September 19, 1890 at age 40, he died at St. Peter's Hospital from erysipelas. His attending physician was Leiser. On September 20, the following was ordered from Herrmann & Co: rosewood case and outside box $40.00, robe $5.00, suit underwear and stockings $1.50, washing and dressing $10.00, three hacks $15.00, hearse of John Zeigler $12.50, digging of grave by Vetter $6.00, total $90.00. His full name was George Avery Parsell and he was born in Steuben Co, Indiana in 1850 to Dr. Aaron Gardner Parsell {memorial 66428164} and Emily Emerson {memorial 66428108). His middle name Avery comes from the first name of the brother of his mother, Avery Emerson. George married Minnie on Oct 12, 1881 in Lewis & Clark Co, Montana. For a while they moved back to Indiana where two sons were born, Chester A. and Roy Gardner Parsell. They moved back to Montana where a third child, a girl, Elta Myrtle Parsell was born in 1889. Also in 1889 George appeared as a witness at the wedding of his brother in law, James Conrad Barnden. He died a year later. Wife Minnie remarried Simeon Currier Rowell on April 28, 1894 in Montana. Simeon died in Idaho in 1913, and Minnie is buried in Montana under the name Minnie Rowell {memorial 84567753}
