George B Swick was born in New Jersey, on April 27, 1859. His death, due to the infirmities of age, occurred at the county farm where he had lived for the past two years, on Monday, Nov 24. His marriage to Florence Virginia Jones took place at Elmwood, Ill. in August 1880. To this union seven children were born. Two died in infancy and there now survive two sons, Charles and Jack Swick of Burlingame; three daughters, Mrs R O Batcheller of Newton, Kansas; Mrs Ruby Cockran, Compton, Calif. and Mrs Guy Burton of Los Angeles, Calif. Mrs Swick passed away in 1901. Mr Swick was again married in 1905, to Mrs Susie Page. She died in 1931, and one son, Delmar Swick of Burbank, Calif. survives.
