Mr. Batt was a veteran of the World war, and a member of the American Legion at Worden. He was a member of the German Congregational church at Worden. He was married Nov. 30, 1919, to Miss Elizabeth Oblander at Ballantine. In addition to his widow and parents, he is survived by three children, Elsie, 17, Marie, 15, and Daniel, 7; and by two brothers, Jacob Batt of Laurel, and John Batt of Huntley. Funeral services at Congregational church at Ballantine. Burial Ballantine cemetery.
