Description	:	The Recorder November 29, 1991 George B. Chew, 87, of Seneca Rocks, died Nov. 26, 1991 at Nella's Nursing Home in Elkins, W.Va., where he had been since July. Mr. Chew was born July 7, 1904 at Crabbottom and was a son of the late Salisbury and Edie Lambert Chew. He was a retired lumberjack, woodsman and sawyer. Mr. Chew was a member of the Brethren Church, the Franklin Moose Lodge No. 769 and the Elkins Odd Fellows Lodge No. 408. His wife, Nellie Dessa Lambert Chew, died March 16,1990. Va.; one stepdaughter, Sallie Brown of Harrisonburg; two stepsons, Herman Bennett of Elkton and Randolph Bennett of Lexington, N.C.; two half-sisters, Mildred Bennett of Onego, W. Va., and Robbie Martin of Franklin, W. Va.; one half-brother, Garth Bennett of Detroit, Mich.; three grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. The Rev. Greg Bland and the Rev. Carl Mauzy will conduct the funeral at 11 a.m. Friday at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin. Burial will be in the Blue Grass Cemetery at Blue Grass.
