Also, records show that John Reid Brown, Sr. died on April 7, 1904 at Lonaconing, Allegany County, Maryland and he was to buried at Lonaconing. From U.S. Census Data, it is surmised that his wife, Mary (Stratton) Brown was born about 1838 in Nova Scotia, Canada and died sometime between 1880 and 1900, probably in the vicinity of Lonaconing.
