Description	:	Thanks to contributor #47343179; George C. Manning, 69, Merrick county pioneer, was buried Tuesday afternoon, August 11, in the Central City cemetery to add one more gap in the ever thinning ranks of old-timers. The funeral was held from the late residence located west of the city. Mr. Manning was in good health until Saturday when he suffered a stroke, never recovering.
