He was a retired farmer and timberman, and a member of the Soule United Methodist Church, Meadow Bluff, W. Va. His is survived by his wife, Daintie Dell Haynes, whom he married in 1926; a brother, Marvin Martin; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Max Martin in 1983; a sister, Pearl Martin; and three brothers, Russ, Eldon and Merl Martin.	George C Martin, 89 of Crag, W.
