He had been in failing health four months. Mr. Logan formerly owned and operated Logan Standard Station in Brookston for 26 years. Born May 21, 1922, in White County, he grauated from Wolcott High School in 1940 and moved from Wolcott to Brookston in 1959. Mr. Logan was a member of Brookston Federated Church, a member and past master of Libanus Masonic Lodge 154 in Monticello, where he received his 25-year pin. A member of Crystal Chapter 165 of the Order of Easter Star, he was serving as worthy patron. He also was a member of Merou Grotto of West Lafayette. He served as a sergeant in the Army's 388th Fighter Squadron during World War II and was a member of Brookston American Legion. Also surviving are four sons, Gary Logan of Griffith, Warren Logan and Ronald Logan, both of Lafayette, and Alan Logan of Route 2, Brookston; and three brothers, Everett logan of Monticello, Robert Logan of Lafayette and Jim Logan of Brooskton. obituary submitted by Deb Mikels
