Description	:	Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” May 19, 1938: George Deller, 63, died at his home, 240 South Davis street, Wednesday at 4:15 p.m. He had been ill for nearly a year. Mr. Deller, who was born in Muscatine April 4, 1875, the son of Joseph and Mary Deller, came to Ottumwa from his birthplace in 1912. Since 1920 he had been employed by Lowenberg bakery. Brooks of Ottumwa. A son, Raymond, preceded him in death. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Johnson’s funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. Walter S. Wendt. Burial will be in the Shaul cemetery. The body will be taken to the Deller home Friday noon and returned to the chapel Saturday noon. Pallbearers will be W.J. Kosman, Elijah R. Thompson, Paul Ream, Fred H. Suechting, Clem R. Bertroche and Hugh Murray.
