Description	:	GREENWOOD, Dec. 15-Funeral services for George Edward Young, who died after a brief illness at the University Hospital, Friday, December 10, were held Sunday at the Presbyterian Church at Greenwood with the Rev. John Scott Meridith, former rector, of St. John's Episcopal church, of Greenwood, officiating, assisted by the Rev. H. Lee Marston, Rev. J. M. Duckwall, and the Rev. Howard S. Irvine, of Waynesboro. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Ruth Garwood of Afton, two children, Carey Allan and Alma Stuarts; also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Young, of Greenwood, and the following...
