The body was taken to Lynch later in the day and will be brought to Norfolk. Fireman Dullock took the train into Monowi after the fatal accident. It is believed that Castle saw smoke coming out from under the tank of the engine and the supposition is that he leaned too far out of the cab when the bridge was reached. Some object came in contact with his head with such terrible force as to cause instant death. Castle had been engineer on the Bonesteel line for many years. He was 67 years of age and is survived by his widow and two daughters, Clarice and Katherine. He was born at Toledo, Ohio. Railroad officials state that they have no detailed information about the accident. Castle was an expert (unreadable) engineer with a very good record. He had a ren which kept him at Bonesteel half the time and at Norfolk the other half. Until full investigation is made, it will not be known whether Castle was on the steps of the locomotive when the accident occurred or was leaning out of the cab window. (unreadable) Horner was the conductor in charge of the train. Funeral services will be held at the Norfolk Episcopal church at 2:00 Friday afternoon. The Rev. Blair Roberts of Dallas officiating.
