The family moved to Paxton, NE in 1929, where George and Vesta raised five children. ***** "Rev. Geo. F. Crow Pilgrim Holiness Leader, Succumbs Funeral Services Thursday Funeral services were held from the Methodist Church on Thursday afternoon of this week for the Rev. George F. Crow, Pilgrim Holiness pastor and leader in the church for over forty years, who died at his home in Paxton on Monday afternoon following a two year illness. Rev. C. C. Coleman, a Pilgrim Holiness pastor was in charge of the services, and the pallbearers were six Pilgrim Holiness pastors from surrounding communities. Burial was in the Paxton cemetery under the direction of the McIntire funeral home. Rev. Crow, who was past 69 at the time of his death, was born at St. Paul, Nebraska, and lived in that community during his youth. Following his call to the church he served as pastor to churches at Chase and LaMarr, Nebraska, and operated a Mission at Blanchard, Oklahoma. He moved with his family to Paxton in 1929 and operated the Paxton Holiness Mission until failing health prohibited further activity. Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Anna Cornelius of Kearney and Mrs. Luella Bauder of Kennewick, Oregon, and three sons, Everett of Kennewick, Washington, and Elmer J. and Harold P. of Paxton, and a number of grandchildren. The obituary will be published in the next issue."
