Description	:	George was born Oct. 12, 1918 in Kalispell, MT. to Frank Hemmer and Alena Pearl Eayrs. In 1936, he moved to Hooper, WA., near LaCrosse, where his life long love of cattle ranching began. He met Beulah Mary Cram and the couple married Dec. 22, 1938 in Spokane. They joyously celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary Saturday. George and Beulah made their home in Hooper where George worked for many years as the cattle foreman for McGregor Land & Livestock Company. After nearly 50 years with the McGregor Company, George retired in 1984. He was an avid hunter and spent trips in Alaska and Canada hunting moose. He especially loved working with cattle even up until the time of his death. George and Beulah enjoyed spending summers at their cabin at Twin Lakes, WA. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce. Bruning Funeral Home of Colfax is caring for the family.. ==================================
