Description	:	He was the son of the late Ira Fieldmore Jacobs and Minnie Parnell Jacobs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, J. W. Jacobs, Carl Jacobs, Ed Jacobs and Thermand Jacobs; and sister, Sarah Jacobs. He was a farmer in the early years of his life, and was employed as a school bus driver, as a projectionist for the Thunderbird Drive In, with Carl Jacobs Carpentry, Branden Cabinets and Wilson Construction.
