Description	:	George was the son of Daniel and Nora Eastlick, who owned a homestead west of Molt. He attended the Holton School near his home, and graduated from Park City High School in 1928, having served as class president for three years. He played guard on the basketball team, ran the mile in track and was a lightweight-division boxer. He farmed with his parents and later bought the farm and the Hartley farm. Read More	George was the son of Daniel and Nora Eastlick, who owned a homestead west of Molt. He attended the Holton School near his home, and graduated from Park City High School in 1928, having served as class president for three years. He played guard on the basketball team, ran the mile in track and was a lightweight-division boxer. He farmed with his parents and later bought the farm and the Hartley farm. During the Great Depression in the '30s, he worked for ITIO Oil Company between Molt and Columbus for three years. On Dec. 24, 1929, George married Lillian Pollar in Billings. They made their home together on their ranch at Molt for most of their 68 years of marriage. He operated or managed the Molt ranch until 2001. George was active in community and county affairs, most of which involved children. He organized the Molt Happy Helpers 4-H Club in 1940. He was a 4-H leader for over 40 years, and during those years, he was honored as the outstanding Montana 4-H leader and as the outstanding 4-H leader in the United States. He was active in both the Stillwater County and the Montana 4-H Leaders Councils. The Stillwater Pavilion in Columbus, originally designed to house 4-H events, was the realization of his biggest dream; together with Joe Arthun, he spearheaded the concept, the funding and the construction of the Pavilion. He was also a member and many-time chairman of the Molt School Board. George was also past master and life member of Rapelje Masonic Lodge No. 122, and he was a member of Scottish Rite in Billings. Survivors included a son, G. Derald Eastlick of Billings; two daughters, Betty J. Morton (and husband George) of Temple Hills, Md., and Barbara E. Stout of Las Vegas; two brothers, Harlan Eastlick of Billings and Kenneth Eastlick of Alberta, Canada; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Herbert Eastlick of Pullman, Wash.; and six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Preceding George in death were his wife, Lillian; a son, S. Daniel Eastlick; two brothers, Herbert and Willard; and two sisters, Mildred Knudsen and Beth Eastlick.
