Cellman, in Fremont township, December 14th, aged seventy three years, eight mouths and two days. He was born in Harrisburg, Virginia, April 12, 1827. He was married to Miss Mary Chandler at his old-home place in 1849. Eleven children were born of this union, five of whom are living, as follows: Mrs. Mustaine, Mrs. T. E. Barnard, Mrs. M. B. George H. Foster died at the home of his son-in-law, M. B. Cellman, in Fremont township, December 14th, aged seventy three years, eight mouths and two days. He was born in Harrisburg, Virginia, April 12, 1827. He was married to Miss Mary Chandler at his old-home place in 1849. Eleven children were born of this union, five of whom are living, as follows: Mrs. Mustaine, Mrs. T. E. Barnard, Mrs. M. B. Cellman and Hugh Foster, all of this county and Ed Foster, of Washington. In 1858 the subject of this sketch moved to Illinois, thence to Missouri. He finally settled in Clarke county in 1875 and began farming in Fremont township. Mr. Foster was a member of the Dunkard church, an upright Christian man, highly respected by all his acquaintances. The funeral was held at the Fremont church December 16th, Rev. W. W. Folger, having charge of the services. A large crowd of sympathizing friends were present. Interment took place in the Fremont cemetery.
