Description	:	Obituary From "Ottumwa Courier," November 13, 1945: George Loomis, 66, an employe of John Morrell & Co. and a resident of Ottumwa for the past 10 years, died at 8:45 a.m. today at his home on Waverly avenue, route 1, following a month's illness. The body was taken to the Carroll Reece funeral home to await completion of funeral arrangements. Funeral Notice From "Ottumwa Courier," October 16, 1902: Funeral services for George Loomis, 66, who died Tuesday at 8:45 a.m., at his home on Waverly avenue, will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Carroll Reece funeral home. The Rev. Edward Byrd, pastor of the East End Presbyterian church, will have charge of the service, and burial will be in the Shaul cemetery. The body has been taken to the residence on Waverly avenue and will be returned to the funeral home Thursday morning.
