He came to the U.S. and Humboldt County in 1912, making his home in Fortuna for the past 26 years. For many years he was self employed as a furniture store owner and operator. He was an exempt fireman of the Hook & Ladder Dept. of the Fortuna volunteer Dept. He was a former City Councilman and Mayor of Fortuna. Services will be held at Goble's Fortuna Mortuary Wednesday, Jan. 14, 1970, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Father Phillip Ryan officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Eureka. Pallbearers will be Earl Ambrosini, Herb Anderson, Nat Evans, Robert Razor, Robert Lee, and Tommy Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Crist and Kinny Green.
