| Description | : | George Henry Pickler (Pop to many) was my grandfather. We called him Grandpaw and for us, that was a name of honor and affection. Grandpaw died of a massive heart attack one night after shortly after returning home from a nearby church service. He often sang at churches across the state. More often than not, he would take his pump organ with him so he could accompany himself.
