Description	:	This is the life of George Homer Dailey. He was born on January 21, 1890 to Andrew and Rachel Jane (Holiday) Dailey at Tyron, Mo. He was the only child. He was 80 years and 28 days old. He departed this life on February 18, 1970 at St. Francis Hospital in Mtn. View, Mo. He was married to Ester Haynes on February 11, 1911. To this union six children were born. He was born on January 21, 1890 to Andrew and Rachel Jane (Holiday) Dailey at Tyron, Mo. He was the only child. He was 80 years and 28 days old. He departed this life on February 18, 1970 at St. Francis Hospital in Mtn. View, Mo. He was married to Ester Haynes on February 11, 1911. To this union six children were born. He leaves to mourn his death: his wife, Ester, and the children. There is Floyd, Raymond, and Sherman of Winona, Mo., Mrs. Allie Thomas of Birch Tree, Mo., and Loyd and Howard of Kansas City, Mo. One son preceded him in death during infancy. He leaves 11 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren, and many relatives and friends. For many years he was a member of the Presbyterian Church and served as superintendent and a Sunday School teacher. He lived on a farm south of Winona all his life until a year ago they moved to Winona. He had been a great outdoorsman and always enjoyed hunting and sports. He had been in ill health for several years and bedfast for two months. He will be missed at home so much but his joy and strength of living will remain with us and give the family the courage to live on. In his last days of life he spent many hours praying and asking the blessings of Christ for himself and family. Our loss is Heaven's gain. Funeral services were held Feb. 21, 1970 in the Clary Chapel with the Rev. Golden Hampton officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Winona.
