Description	:	GEORGE TAYLOR Funeral services for Mr. George Taylor were conducted Wednesday afternoon on the lawn of his home. Rev. Clyde Gullickson was in charge of the service. Mrs. Mary Fuller Woodard was at the organ and accompanied Mrs. Wm. Mitchell and Mrs. Roy Stevens as they sang "Does Jesus Care?" and "We Are Going Down the Valley, One by One." Maulding The pallbearers were Walter Kraft, Gilbert Taylor, Sherman Taylor, Chan Boyle, Virgil Stohr and Billy Taylor. George Hyle Taylor son of Cordine and Lydia Taylor, was born near Superior, Nuckolls county, Nebraska, on July 9,1878. The family came to Antelope county when he was five years old. He spent his life in Antelope and Wheeler counties with the exception of a few months in Oregon. On December 9, 1901 he was united in marriage to Anna Fuller at Neligh. To this union four children were born: Guy of Clearwater; Hazel (Mrs. C.H. Boyle), of Trumbull, Nebr; and the twins, Leita (Mrs. Virgil Stoehr) of American Falls, Idaho, and Lyle of Hot Springs, S.D. He was the last of his family of nine children, all of whom preceded him in death. He was baptised into Christ on October 25, 1942. He suffered a stroke on May 11, 1944 from which he never fully recovered. He departed this life on August 10, 1952, at the age of 74 years, one month and one day. He enjoyed his friends and neighbors until three years ago when he started to fail and gradually became worse until the time of his death. He had been a bed patient since April 1, 1951, and was cared for by his wife almost constantly the last fourteen months. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, four children, 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends by whom he will be greatly missed.
